Lower Operating Costs and Improve Patient Care with a Clinical System Consolidation Strategy

View this OnDemand webinar today!

To reduce operating costs and improve overall quality of service to internal and external customers, Healthcare IT organizations are beginning to focus on consolidating their clinical systems. Clinical System Consolidation is proving to be most opportune for organizations that are either planning or have completed one or several merger and acquisitions, or organizations that have several departmental system solutions across a single facility (e.g., multiple radiology or catheterization lab solutions across their hospital and ambulatory care facilities).

In this Webinar, we will present a recent case study of St. Vincent Health, Indiana’s largest healthcare employer with 20 health ministries serving central Indiana. We will discuss how St. Vincent Health leveraged Zanett Healthcare to successfully reduce the cost of maintaining multiple systems and improve quality of care by working through these phases:

  • Completing a Radiology and Cardiology PACS consolidation strategy
  • Conducting a Cardiovascular (CV) Information System and CVPACS technology selection initiative
  • Planning and executing the CVPACS technology implementation and integration with HIMS, Hemodynamics, eMPI, and EMR as well as the data migration and data cleansing
  • Consolidating the picture and archive systems (PACS) applications as well as storing all of the images into a single storage area network (SAN) solution
