Controversial federal and state legislation (in 19 states to-date) is about to change the landscape for physicians, their patients, pharmaceutical companies, medical and biotech manufacturers, and teaching hospitals. The Physician Payment Sunshine Laws require detailed reporting in 2013 of information heretofore never made public. Gifts and payments made to individual physicians and teaching hospitals must be reported to the federal government in 2013. Data gathering begins in 2012. Are you prepared?
